What Is Stance Detection?
Stance detection determines whether a text author is in favor of, against, or neutral toward a target. Unlike sentiment analysis, it measures agreement with ideas.

Stance detection classifies comments into Support (SUP), Against (AGA), and Neutral (NEU). PJQ uses a 7-category rubric where only SUP, AGA, and NEU affect the Mood-Net score. Fan-noise and bots are excluded.
